The idea is to use these spaces as combined storage of ideas, thoughts, discussions which can be referenced later by members and others. Often we discuss the same issue, problem and many times we tend to forget what was the outcome of discussion when we had the same problem last time.
This space will be utilized in organizing the discussions, ideas, problem solving techniques, and anything else which is beneficial to the business. Executives from business can learn from them instead of reinventing the wheel.
